Corporate Map Days are a series of workshops held by our sponsor firms at their offices and tailored exclusively for Capital W members. Each workshop is unique.
Friday 3 May
CBA gave us a tour of their award-winning offices to learn more about CBA and careers in banking, with a panel discussion with recent graduates, and a networking morning tea with current graduates. Then we moved on to Citi, for their 'In the Citi' workshop, where we gained a deeper understanding of the different aspects of an Investment Bank, and networked with different women from across the organisation over lunch. At Credit Suisse later that afternoon, we heard an illuminating panel discussion by graduates, before participating in speed networking with more senior employees.
Friday 10 May
Macquarie introduced us to the different areas within an investment bank, and gave us an opportunity to hear from and meet with some previous graduates, before presenting a fantastic Personal Branding workshop, to assist us in putting our best foot forward. We then moved on to Goldman Sachs, where we heard from a panel, who discussed life at Goldman Sachs, before giving us the chance to meet and greet members of their Women's Network over lunch. In the afternoon, UBS gave us some great insight into the recruitment process with their mock Assessment Centre workshop.
