Graduate Investment Banking Analyst Role

Neu Capital is a boutique debt and M&A advisory firm based in Sydney who is a market leader in special situations and structured finance. They help clients structure financing solutions which support their future growth. At Neu Capital you would work across leveraged finance, warehouse lending, M&A, distress and other specialty financing structures. They have had a record year and are looking to expand further. They are inviting final year and recent graduates to apply for their graduate investment banking analyst roles.

The Associate role

Our Associate (Graduate) positions are tailored to final-year university students, or those who have up to two years professional experience post-university.

The Associate role is a focal point of the project team. You will be responsible for the research and analysis upon which each client engagement is based.

Responsibilities may include gathering data and developing detailed strategic and financial analysis, which will be used to determine the recommendation. You will work with the case team to derive insights, conclusions and recommendations based on the analysis.

Case work may include developing a view of a future market, developing a valuation model for a company, or helping implement change on a transformation project. You will work across a variety of industries and be exposed to many different business operations.

Young Impact Challenge

Young Australians are encouraged to share their creative ideas for the 2021 Westpac Youth Impact Challenge – a nationwide initiative to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs who have the potential to drive meaningful change.

The Challenge:
- Is a nationwide initiative open to all young people in Australia aged 7 to 21 years old.
- Aims to help participants to solve problems in their local communities.
- Provides participants, who want to learn about social entrepreneurship, with online learning resources, including helpful videos, questions, and downloadable tools.

Key Steps for Participants:
1. Identify a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) to focus on.
2. Brainstorm an innovative business or social change movement that addresses the chosen SDG.
3. Register a community-changing idea in the Challenge online for a chance to win an epic prize pack.

The world is changing at an unrelenting pace. The PwC Higher Apprenticeship Program is an essential piece of reimagining employment pathways and empowering a diverse workforce.

Our program is part of an Australian Federal Government initiative that helps support PwC in offering an alternative pathway for young Australians to work in the professional services sector.
